My personal mission is to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Team in Training Program and participating in a Half-Ironman Triathlon (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run). The money raised through this program will be utilized for leukemia research and patient assistance programs.

Through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program, I will have a coach, a training regiem, nutritional advice and the support of a great group of athletes with a common goal, to raise $5,000 to support the Luekemia & Lymphoma Society in its battle against leukemia.

WHY?

Leukemia is the number one cause of death in children between the ages of 1-15 and takes the lives of 57,000 people each year. There is no way to prevent leukemia, but it can be treated effectively.
